Auf dem Rückflug von Barcelona (ich war mit einer DIN-Delegation dort) fiel mir in der Wochenendausgabe des Handelsblatt diese Grafik ins Auge.
Fast die Hälfte aller Erwachsenen in der Türkei arbeitet mehr als 45 Stunden pro Woche. In Bulgarien tut das gerade mal jeder Vierzigste. Dazwischen ganz Europa, irgendwo zwischen „Präsenz-Marathon“ und „klarer Feierabendgrenze“.
Und während ich auf die Wolken starrte, fragte ich mich:
„Arbeiten wir wirklich mehr, nur weil wir länger sitzen?
Oder haben wir einfach gelernt, effizient zu tun, als würden wir schuften?“
Wer glaubt, Leistung ließe sich an Stunden messen, lebt noch im letzten Jahrhundert.
Die Zukunft gehört den Unternehmen, die verstehen, dass echte Produktivität nicht in Anwesenheit, sondern in Wirksamkeit steckt.
Work-Life-Balance ist kein nettes Extra, sie ist der geheime Treibstoff, ohne den Teams schneller ermüden als ein Laptop ohne Akku.

I thought why not meet Francesco Ferro when I am already in Barcelona. Therefore I took the opportunity to meet Francesco Ferro from PAL Robotics in Barcelona.
It’s been a few months since our last exchange, so it was great to catch up, see some exciting new developments, and discuss ongoing and future projects.
Always inspiring to see the innovation and passion driving the robotics community and to explore new opportunities for collaboration.

Das ISO/TC 299/WG 12 Meeting läuft derzeit in Barcelona, wo wir an einem neuen Sicherheitsstandard für humanoide Roboter arbeiten.
Nach zwei Tagen intensiver und spannender Diskussionen starten wir nun mit viel Schwung in die nächsten beiden.

Der internationale Austausch zeigt erneut, wie wichtig eine gemeinsame Sprache und ein einheitliches Verständnis für ein effektives Risikomanagement sind - insbesondere, wenn es darum geht, neue Standards zu entwickeln, die unsere globalen Innovationen einschließen und nicht verhindern 💡.

Auf dem Weg zu einer vollgepackten Woche mit spannenden Terminen und inspirierenden Gesprächen.
Eine Sache darf ich schon verraten:
Es wird sich alles um Robotics und Safety drehen - Themen, die aktuell nicht nur technologisch, sondern auch gesellschaftlich unglaublich spannend sind 💡
Ich freue mich auf den direkten Austausch vor Ort, auf neue Impulse und darauf, innovative Ansätze in diesen Bereichen näher kennenzulernen.
