This week, the ISO - International Organization for Standardization Working Group 12 is meeting in Seoul.
As part of the German delegation [DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V.] we are working intensively on one of the key future topics in robotics:
Humanoid Safety 🫶
As humanoid systems increasingly move out of controlled industrial environments and into direct interaction with humans, the requirements for:
✅ safety
✅ standardization
✅ trust in technology
are rising significantly ❗️
The international exchange once again makes one thing clear:
👉 Safety is not a national issue, it is a global responsibility 👍.
